They better win 10 games every year to be in the Top 10. Of course with 5 ACC games they have nearly 5 auto wins. They are 45-9 vs the ACC since 2014 when they partially joined the ACC. As an aside that does strengthen the narrative the ACC is a weak football conference.

playing 7 of 13 possible teams in conference makes the Conference standings not terribly meaningful unless the team gets to the championship game. 5-3 in Conference. 1-3 in non conference with zero wins against FBS teams. Kind of supports the perception the ACC is a weak foitball conference.

As they say you play to win the games. NCATT games are very hard to win. Winning 6 in a row, especially as they have not been a top seed all that often is even more impressive. They likely are a 1 or 2 seed this year.

UCONN Men’s team is tied for 4th with Duke and Indiana with 5 NCAA Championships. Only behind UCLA, Kentucky and UNC. That is Blue Blood status. Not as long a history but the past 30 years they have the most titles for each men and women.
