Glad you and 5 others care. The 30 million other college football fans don't care. Do you care about the perceptions of Indiana, Oregon State, Arizona State or the other middling teams in other conferences or only about the SEC because the National Narrative is the SEC is a better football...
CDS' style of speaking is clearly different than many coaches we have been accustomed to hearing speak. I believe the players understand what he is saying and his speaking style far more than a bunch of middle age to old guy fans do.
Words don't matter. Wins and losses matter. Wins and...
The question is who cares about teams 6-12 in any conference but a few diehards saying the SEC and B1G are not better football Conferences than the ACC? You guys are only going to convince a few diehard GT fans. You guys have earned the "Saint Jude" award! Well done!
Very reasonable take. What I liked the most was seeing George grow as a point guard and team leader. His play the last month has been excellent. He has been a good decision maker all season. His offense has improved a whole lot. He has developed a nice floater and he has become a solid 3...
Wasted season - LOL. You are the guy who always preaches about expectations. Now you blast the the team and coach because they did not meet Your Expectation. Oh the Irony! You often have excellent posts. The ones the last couple of days are silly and that is giving you past credit for...
The best way to be more efficient is to have more very good players. No one less Tony Bennett wins more games than they lose with a team that has on the whole average ACC players. Bennett is a rare coach. It will be interesting to see how UVA basketball fares in the new world of unlimited...
A foundation needed to be laid for GT BB. GTBB has been lost in the wilderness for 15+ years with no foundation to build upon. I saw a foundation being laid for the first time in a very long time. We have 2 excellent freshmen who positively impact the game and both progressed very well this...
The roster needed to be turned over. 3 of the 5 best players were new to the team this year (Ndongo, George, and Reeves). Your perspective of roster turnover and what panned out are off base. Abram was a bust. He was the only one who was highly regarded that was a bust. Mostly they were...
The prior two years GTBB was bad and lacked ACC level talent in many positions. This year’s roster was almost entirely new. Kelly, Sturdivant and Coleman were the only holdovers. They played about the same as they did in prior years. Decent players but not a core group to get GT to the upper...
The efficiency ratings can be a bit Miss leading as we had several horrible games on both offense and defense that are impossible to overcome.
Our offense improved from early this season. We play mostly man defense. We are better at man than zone. We really don’t have anyone close to being...
Until the top 2-3 in the ACC compete regularly for NCs the narrative that the SEC is a much better football conference than the ACC will NOT change regardless of how much you want it to change. That is reality. Currently only Clemson and FSU have shown they can compete at the level of top SEC...
Transfers are the norm now. You can't watch any game without the announcer saying "transfer from ..." We get some and lose some. Moore made a good decision it seems. This is college basketball circa 2024!
ND has 2 excellent freshmen guards. Don't undersell those 2. We have 2 excellent freshmen, our 2 best players. We have a ways to go to climb the ACC latter. The good news is our 2 best players are freshmen. Now let's hope we keep them both and add some more guys as good as Bye and Nait.
The interesting thing will be - we have a 2nd year in this offense with a lot of returning players. How much can we improve. The flip side is our opponents have had all offseason to dissect our offense. How much will that help them prepare for our offense. Ireland will be a big tell.
