I think the narrative is the SEC sucks and ACC deserved more bids. I don't understand what you are trying to say? ACC current season was what should be judged.

I took what Root4GT posted as the opposite of what you thought it meant (I don't know who is right.). I thought he was saying past season's success should not influence current year selection in or out of the NCAA Tournament.

I think the bitching is about only 5 ACC teams were picked for the NCCA Tournament. Payments to the conferences appears to be more based on number of teams selected and less on how the teams selected performed.

I really don't understand why the players that plan to leave aren't already in the portal. Are they still discussing their plans with their families? Are they waiting to see what their teammates do? Are they waiting for the poachers to make their offers? It's complicated for the foreign players.

Well said. I think you are right that Stoudamire will focus more on high school recruits and use the portal for critical needs.

Sounds like a lot of turnover is coming. A big rim protector with enough offensive skills that our opponents need to guard everyone is an essential need.

In the midweek press conference CDS was asked about the redshirts (Terry and Souare). He said a few comments that implied both would be with the team next year. Of course things can change.

Not mine, but there seems to be enough against expressed in the posts I read. If you read my post, I said I liked his press conferences. Did I hurt your feelings?

CDS probably would be well served by some PR lessons for his press conferences. I like them because he is open and honest, but he can ruffle feelings.

We are all going to find out if CDS can recruit and coach a winning team over the next couple of years. Some of us think he will and some not. Meanwhile we will argue our point of view. Damon Soudamire demands his team sticking to the game plan and playing scrappy man to man defense. Hopefully...

Nor do I; I also am hopeful. Kelly's may not be NBA ready gives me hope.
