12/2 - MBB vs. Duke — HOW BOUT THEM JACKETS!

Papa P, you’ve really got your panties in a wad about this. Did someone ask you to sit down so that they could see? I’ve witnessed the same thing over and over at Tech games. It’s a pet peeve of mine too. I saw it happen again yesterday in my section. It’s a bummer. I don’t like it. But you’ve...

12/2 - MBB vs. Duke — HOW BOUT THEM JACKETS!

Shout out to the home crowd in McCamish today. The Thrillerdome came to life! Students were great and section 110 was right there with them. There was a pretty good dook contingent in the building, but the play of the GT team kept them quiet most of the time, and when they did try to come to...

12/2 - MBB vs. Duke — HOW BOUT THEM JACKETS!

Awesome! It’s cliche to say, but there really isn’t a bad seat in the house at McCamish. Glad you’ll be there. Let’s make some noise for the white and gold!

Glad to hear you grew a conscience and stopped selling out to the opposition… kidding

On the ticket situation, you sorry sons of…, I mean, smart move, you folks sure know how to work the system. On the tailgating for hoops, not that I know of, but it should be a thing.

12/2 - MBB vs. Duke — HOW BOUT THEM JACKETS!

Interesting, because a guy in the row behind me told me at the missy state game that he sold his 2 seats for the Duke game for over $600.

11/28 - MBB vs. Miss St.

Ok, I was thinking you meant jump stop from a dribble. Yes, if both feet are on the floor before you possess the ball, then you can move one foot and then the other, but you can’t take two full steps. You can lift either foot and the other becomes the pivot foot. You can place the first foot...

11/28 - MBB vs. Miss St.

I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “jump stop before you grab the ball”, but with jump stops, whether or not you are allowed to establish a pivot foot depends on how you execute the jump stop.

Tampa buzz, yes, you basically have it now, except, you can never “switch” your pivot foot. It is just semantics, but one or the other of your feet is defined as your pivot foot depending on the circumstances (e.g., moving, standing still, one foot touching, both feet touching, no feet...

Ok. I see what you are saying, and I agree. I was thinking in terms of making a “running” shot like a layup, since your original response was to a comment about Kelly pinning the ball to his chest and taking two huge running steps to do a layup. In the case of a running shot or pass you cannot...

Not sure about 3-4 steps. In general you can lift your pivot foot off the floor, but then it cannot touch the floor again before you release the ball for a pass or a shot. Which foot counts as your pivot foot varies, depending on whether you are moving or not and whether both feet, one foot, or...

12/2 - MBB vs. Duke — HOW BOUT THEM JACKETS!

I have more faith in the students than I do in the alumni and sidewalk fans. Hope it’s packed with GT faithful. Hope it’s “Welcome to the Thrillerdome!”

12/2 - MBB vs. Duke — HOW BOUT THEM JACKETS!

It seems like the raucous crowd may have been a factor that helped Arkansas beat Duke. I hope GT fans provide a similar atmosphere inside McCamish Pavillion on Saturday. I have read that it is a sellout and also that there are some tickets remaining. I hope there aren’t too many Duke fans in...

Case in point, Saturday when the dookies come to town… I hope I’m wrong.

"They’re running a form of the triple option from the gun"

I keep hearing that our OL manhandled their DL. We did well running the ball, but I don’t think I would go that far. If we manhandled their DL, then what in the world would you call what they did to ours?

11/28 - MBB vs. Miss St.

I agree that we need good guard play, especially if we are going to play this spread/iso style offense. And our guards all need to be more determined finishers. I know ideally the intent is to break down your man to force the defense to adjust and then find the open man for a scoring...

    Postgame: UGA 31-GT 23

Hard to imagine a GT football season ticket holder not having a gold or yellow piece in their winter, outerwear wardrobe. Budget or bougie doesn’t matter.
