Let’s celebrate the win, but don’t start with this “bashing” crap. It’s called legitimate criticism and differing opinions. Calling that “bashing” or “hate” is for immature teenagers.
It’s not a mystery. Here is what works against us:
1. The typical nature/personality of a Tech alum. We aren’t the typical fun loving, extroverted, social folks that attract others to be a part of the scene. This is a bigger part of it than many will admit.

I remember hearing him in an interview earlier this year say that he will “have this thing turned around in 90 days.”
It takes time for a new staff with several new pieces to gel and trust each other and learn to play together.
For him to say this so brashly showed naivety that a 50 year old...
It’s going to be tough going forward, mainly due to demographics of our student body. There’s simply a large chunk of our future alums (potential supporters) that don’t care about it. That’s why I’m glad Batt and Cabrera are doing things to bring in revenue from other sources.
Before I even saw who it was, I was thinking Chris Young. I’m pretty sure this was the game we played in the Meadowlands right before 9/11. Remember it well. I was there.
They might make that, but they aren’t giving to the AA. School endowment is flush with cash, while the AA is in desperate need. It’s kinda the opposite at UGA.
The chasm between GT and big time programs is wide. We can, and should, do better, but, make no mistake, the expectations and money has definitely gotten out of whack.
