    CBG buyout = $2.4 million

Maybe we could void the contract by disbanding the program for a year. That is what we are essentially doing anyway (tic) (sort of).

    CBG buyout = $2.4 million

Its because the pocket protector crowd gives their $$$ to the academic side which is more than well funded without individual contributions.

    Will we can Brian Gregory

Is this like being the tallest midget in the room..... it's hard to fathom that we could be worse. My prediction is that the ax will fall sometime on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. Time is of the essence and connecting with potential candidates early is a good thing.

    Next year?

Eric, thanks for the insight. Bruce, you have hit the nail on the head without even saying it. We could be a better team next year without the record indicating it. Looking forward to see what the new skill position players do, there are certainly going to be a lot of new faces ......

    Next year?

Eric, I keep looking at our roster and am wondering what our AB/BB/WR two deep will look like. Any help you can give? What are the chances that some of our DB's will move to A Back. Editorial Comment - Brendan Douglas really screwed up by not coming to GT.

    If you had to choose

I hate them, won't watch them, hope they die in a fire (wait a minute, thats too far!), but we are in the ACC not the state of Georgia conference. ACC title all damn day. Side note: the obsession of this game with our fan base is exactly the reason we need the series to end so we can move the...

Lived through 1983 through 1988 as a student, season ticket holder since 1983 (thanks Dad for putting them in my name while i was a rat!). I have hit the point that i can't take any more of the 6-6 seasons where 2-3 of the wins are against the Elon, Alabama A&M and MTSU's (oh wait) of the world...

There is no doubt we will take a step or two backward before we could move forward.

    How many more wins?

2 do not underestimate the impact of losing Laskey if that is indeed what occurs.

I am not saying to fire him after this year, in fact next year will be a throw away year given the schedule. GT couldn't win 6 next year Bill Walsh in his prime as the coach. Take the losses, one more year ticks off the buyout and THEN we move forward.

No way in hell he would come here, he is legit and taking our job at this point in time would jeopardize his long term career trajectory

100 percent correct. We are the definition of insanity, continuing to do the same expecting different results

    CPJ extension

Whiskey, not to be an arse, but the hype disappeared around the same time that Gailey's talent disappeared.

    CPJ extension

Think we should wait to do anything, extension or firing, until the end of the 2015 season. We will know what we have at that point in time due to the difficult schedule.

GT - Duke Post game thread

Not my style but must be yours so let's see how much of a tech supporter you are: 1- how many many GT home games have you attended? 2- how many GT bowl games have you attended? 3- GT road football games? 4- final fours with GT in them? 5 - how many consecutive years have you been a season...
