Actually, the end of the 2018 season will be telling with two years remaining and no extension in sight. Would make it difficult to continue to beat fierce competition such as South Alabama and Western Kentucky for those 3 star studs we have been landing ....

Freaking sick of this half *** ****. $7,000 per year in donations and tickets. I'm freaking done. For the crappy schedule we play I could spend less than $1k on tickets and not have to donate to Student "athletes" that GD quit the last half of the season

The influence I would see is the demand to do things the right way, and I am not talking about academics, I am talking about winning and at a high level.

We have won three games against teams who are in one of the Power 5 conferences. The cumulative record of those three teams against Power 5 opponents is 4-17. We literally have beaten no one.

The most important games every year are your 8 conference games. The deck was stacked to favor VT as they draw BC every year while GT is stuck with Clemson and Miami is stuck with FSU. On average that gives VT around a half a game advantage over us in the division race and around 0.3 games...
