Just checked again and sure enough Orlando wasn't even foretasted to be in Irma's path. This was published September 10th, game was scheduled for the 16th. Disney reopened the 13th. We should have requested another home game as compensation for rescheduling this canceled game.
This is my plan this season. When we could bring in "sealed" bottles of coke I would just pour out a bit of coke from each bottle, replace with favorite adult beverage and screw cap on tight. It was never questioned.
The trick is to not take the food out of your pocket. If they ask just say your pockets are empty. Food will not set off the metal detector so you are good to go. I agree consistency at BDS is terrible. I find that walking in with kids gives you a lot more leniency.
Until this season STH could bring food and drinks in clear STH bag. This privilege goes away this season and we are offered a discount on select concessions stands instead. I'm guessing the discount will only work at the standard concessions not the outside vendor stands. A higher demand for...
It hasn't been an issue in the past because we have been allowed to bring water/drinks into the stadium in past seasons. Concession lines will also be worse since STH can no longer legally bring in food. I'm bringing snacks for kids in the pockets but will likely need to grab something for...
Yes the supporter's groups put on tailgates and no they don't loose money. In fact they donate any profits to soccer organizations around Atlanta.
Yes they have insurance. They are very professionally run organizations and tailgates. They feed and entertain hundreds of people each, similar to...
How do Atlanta United supporters groups put on tailgates for much cheaper without loosing money? Price is typically 10-15 all you can eat or 20-25 if you want all you can drink too. It can be done at a lower price-point. The top of Peter's isn't huge so there's a chance that pricing this low...
If this was $25 including 2 drinks a ticket and $10-15 for kids 12 and under I would jump all over it. We have a 3 & 6 y/o and with soccer games Saturday mornings there is no time to setup a tailgate. Most of my friends are cheapskates who are too cheap to even buy tickets but love to complain.
A word of caution, we were stuck in one of those AT&T decks for an hour and a half after an evening Clemson game. Like we didn't even bother starting the car for an hour and a half and game ended shortly before midnight. We live 8 miles away but didn't get home until 2 am. For most games you are...
My apologies for linking to such a repulsive domain but this guy's father said some pretty strange things after the commitment of his son to uGA.

I wasn't bitching about fan day, rather I was complaining that we have been complaining about the same things year after year yet nothing changes. The GTAA provides an entertainment product of which there are many options in the Atlanta area (I think I already said this but it was the point of...
I wasn't there and personally I've come to expect poor customer service. I've complained to TS when I've had issues and gotten a response but no substantive change. The point of my post was that you cannot fault people for choosing to spend their entertainment dollars elsewhere when they have a...
Our athletic association is selling an entertainment product, a totally elective purchase for consumers. Providing a negative experience is the worst possible thing they can do. But I'm sure the bookstore debacle is the fault of someone else, someone who won't be held accountable and things will...
They should just give sth a discount at the big bookstore on select items. What difference does it make where the cash register is. Personally I think there's some dead weight underneath TS that needs get get the boot before any operational improvements are seen. The operation of the Junior...
