Agree. But, it's not just Andy Mac continuing to recruit for GT, it's all the assistants. There are lots of tweets out there by recruits about the great in-home visits they're having and pics with different members of the GT staff.

CPJ earned the trust of the admin on exceptions. The second half of his tenure he had free reign, he could recruit anybody he wanted as far as the admin was concerned. Now, that didn't really change anything because CPJ also knew that he couldn't recruit anybody he wanted because they had to...

There is one slam dunk option right now (pun?), and one obvious choice. If you put the candidates on paper and didn't know anything about offensive systems, just what they've actually accomplished, one candidate would be several notches above the others and we would all be extremely excited to...

I'm not for Collins. He has a worse record than the coach before him, and the record isn't impressive anyway. But, more than that, he had a bad (ie unethical) rep in the way he left GT. If we get anyone who even smells unethical, I'm done as a fan - GT is not foundational to life. Ethics...

The problem is, with the rumor mill and people claiming certain airline seats as their legitimate source of credibility, and with our culture's tendency to ride emotionalism and the wave of the "(false) information age", it may look like that anyway.

@Yomanser , what is the deal with the inside info you got about Whisenhunt NOT being a serious candidate for the job a few days ago? Not trying to all you out at all, just genuinely wondering how that kind of conflicting info can happen.

To which one of these objections do the great offenses we've had here not provide a counterexample to disprove it? I'll give you number 4, actually - that could be valid, though I'm not convinced of it.
