The point is that the CFP rankings are purely speculative with no objective basis when comparing teams in separate conferences. And to have four of the top five teams be from one conference is just stupid. What’s making it even worse is these conferences are so big it’s hard to even compare two...

Neither alone can be entirely successful but as of right now Pastner appears to have been miles ahead of Stoudamire in terms of building a winning program.

No one has mentioned this yet (or maybe they have and I haven’t paid attention), but with the playoff taking up extra bowl games there will likely be more 5-7 teams going bowling.

Georgia has zero chance at the playoffs if they lose another game. Doesn’t matter who beats them.

Conference record still decided division champ. The only reason we were “in contention” was that we simply hadn’t played enough of the games yet. We never stood a real chance at winning the division that year and honestly punched above our weight class to get to 4-4 in league play.
