Honestly, they need GT to pull ACC “upsets” and for their beloved SEC Dwags to take care of business. That way they can continue this “middling GT” narrative and use it to knock down the whole conference.
There’s only one way I see to fix this….
The depth chart circulated last week looked to have Cooley at RB2.
Cooley was injured returning the opening kick off and I don’t think we saw him again. TV went to commercial pretty quickly and I never heard an update.
My points (maybe made poorly):
1. I hope Cooley is OK.
2. If Alexander...
Agree completely! I haven’t seen the stat but I suspect our before contact and after contact yards were both pretty solid. Just a good day all around and lots guys deserve kudos
That’s perfect fatherhood right there!
1. “Son, decisions have consequences.”
2. Quietly do everything you can not to allow those decisions to have lasting repercussions.
Kid ran hard and did a really nice job. Said in another thread that he may not have known that morning how many touches he was about to get. Cooley went down on the opening kick off (anyone know anything about him, btw)?
Also, not that it hasn’t been said, but the OL would’ve made a lot of guys...
Amen to this. There is absolutely ZERO need to draw correlation to that program or its leadership. We can be successful without being them. Get your heads right!
That’s the hazard of running roughshod through a really tough schedule. As you start knocking them off, folks are going to call them paper tigers. As long and we keep winning, it’ll prove itself out.
I’ve been waaay behind all day but I thought the same thing. I have no idea how this gameplan was supposed to work but Cooley was by all indication RB2 and he went out on th opening kickoff. Alexander was an absolute stud at RB2 the rest of the day. He had nice runs all day long. Kudos to him…...
I’ve kind of wondered that too. Maybe they caught a little lightning in a bottle last year? Dunno. I think it’ll be closer than that.. maybe 31-27 type of affair.
