Maybe, but at what point do you allow the youth to develop? Baldwin has a great bat, and IMO, Murphy relies on playing daily to have consistency. I don’t think he is a guy who thrives on getting every third day off.

That’s a valid point. Sometimes letting guys figure out the game without explicitly telling them what’s going on bodes well for diagnosing a team later on. Kids gotta have basketball IQ too

It was very early on in the broadcast and was quickly mentioned but the sideline reporter did say that he was assured he couldn't injury his shoulder any worse running the ball and that's all that was said. The rest was implied which it seems everybody but the UM coaching staff understood lol
