  1. Uniforms vs Louisville

Huh? It's pretty standard in sports at all levels to have a specific set of uniforms you wear regularly. I would imagine most people here do not work jobs that require uniforms, but plenty do.

Only Cooley, Haynes came to Tech from HS

McCord did not have 7 seconds of clean pocket, we put far more pressure on him (and sacked him once) than Cuse put on King. He didn't need 7 seconds either though, we let their receivers run free amd gave him quick and easy targets.
  4. Conference Realignment

The numbers I've seen are closer to $25-30m difference.

How long has it been since your first email and how long since the second?

King had the higher QBR from that game believe it or not, though IDK what all QBR accounts for. He does also have a 7% higher completion percentage and 1 more total TD, though McCords TDs are all passing.

I really do think constant public shaming might be the answer. 4 billboards, 2 in Athens that recruits pass and Kirby has to see every day, and 2 in Atlanta. In each city have one with the number of days since a dwag's last arrest and total arrests since the accident, maybe even have the most...
  8. Louisville Game Travel Thread

Does Louisville still have dumb liquor laws? I remember going there in 2015 and trying to go to a liquor store around 6:30pm and they were all closed for the day. Believe it was a Thursday or Friday.
  9. Uniforms vs Louisville

The blue pants look terrible. Just win and I'll forgive this.

I tend to take PFF grades with a grain of salt since they are based on a 3rd party's opinion of what they think a player was supposed to do on a given play, but fair enough. Does PFF provide any more clarity on what specifically they think they did poorly or not, or just the rating? I just went...

I sure hope we get to see Zach do a lot more of that soon.
  12. Game 5 #GTvsLOU Predictions

I dont know if they are or not, but I think they'll have to be if they want to win - our rush D is pretty solid.
  13. On To Louisville

Duke has 6 wins in the last 25 games against us, 5 of which were with Cutcliffe. UNC also has 6 wins in the last 25 games against us. Duke is not at all what we are to UNC.
  14. Game 5 #GTvsLOU Predictions

Tech has not allowed a sack through 4 games. Louisville's QB has been sacked twice in 2 games, against G5/FCS patsies with a combined record of 0-6. I don't know that Tech will win, but that won't be the reason.

I gave the OL a B when I rated them in my previous post. I think that should tell you how I see them. "Barely top 1/3" is not a bad spot to be - if all of our units operated at that level I'd be ecstatic and we'd be a top 25 team. But sure sounds like you are trying to minimize their...
  16. TN to add 'talent fee' to all tickets

and I'd bet most of the other 59% just aren't far enough into their career to have reached that point yet.

@gtrower 's ypc is yards per carry, and matches the data here https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/yards-per-rush-attempt That would put us at 19th in the former P5+ND. Pretty dang good, especially when you consider we've played more opponents and more P4/5 opponents than just...

Thanks for delineating your scale, though perhaps a letter grade scale would be clearer. I do think I'd rate the WR group as the lowest performing so far, perhaps a C for them. Their inability to get separation, dropped passes, and going back to last season inability to fight for the ball are...

You'll have to forgive me then, but with comments like and complaining about the OL in every other thread I'm sure you can see how I'd get the impression you think they are bad or a weakness of the team. If you are expecting every guy on the OL to beat his man 100% of the time or take on...
