Ohio RAN on Syracuse. Georgia State sold out against the run on us. Syracuse’s defense did not look good. First, because we got pessimism here in the ATL In the second half, McCord aired it out a bit. It was Ohio, but his second half looked really good. They got 354 yards in the air, but...

We hear a lot about Key learning from Saban. Belichick has talked about Key on air, and I saw Key actively pursue Belichick’s “middle 8” strategy yesterday. He ran the four minute offense at the end of the second, and went for it on fourth and goal. Then, we marched down to start the third. That...

I think Sherrer coached his players well for this game. They knew how to read our screens. They put their hands up at the right times. They probably knew how to attack our OL—he coached against Geep all last year, too. Our tackling wasn’t as good in this game, and it caused us to give up big...

The fumbled snap on the game winning drive...

NCST played an FCS team with a very weak defense. Concepcion is NCST’s best weapon on offense, and they struggled with a team that came in 4th behind Furman, Chattanooga, and Mercer, and lost their OC to Pitt and also their best players to the portal. We played FSU. I wouldn’t use that WCU...

Nice breakdown of FSU/GT counter run play

The defense needs to make the right move and they need to beat their man (or men). If they do both, you need to run a different play. Also, if they’re playing smart and they’re winning matchups, then you’re having a bad day on offense.

    Conference Realignment

Clemson has spent $1,001,124.53 in legal fees so far. Who knows how much FSU and the conference have spent. Most of it seems to be funded by IPTAY https://www.postandcourier.com/sports/clemson/clemson-atlantic-coast-conference-legal-fees-invoices/article_1d6237cc-6602-11ef-94d9-43e0a57dec3d.html

    Four minute mode?

It was on the drive—the criticism was for “playing for a field goal”, it was not for taking a field goal as time expired. It worked out perfectly, though.

    Four minute mode?

I’ve seen a few people write that FSU should have let us score quickly so that they would have a shot. I wouldn’t go that far. In real time, sports journalists were questioning “why is Key going for a field goal here”? He did get the guaranteed last word in the game. I think we could have...

    Syracuse Arrogance

Upstate NY can be a pretty area. It should be really nice this time of year. The Finger Lakes are nice, there are state parks. Niagara Falls is about 4 hours away https://www.visitfingerlakes.com/plan-your-trip/finger-lakes-facts/

Game 2 Georgia State vs Georgia Tech Media

I interpreted what Key said as “I have to coach players to do the right things the right way. There are uncountable ways of playing badly, and if we focus on that we will run out of time and we won’t get any better”

Coaching Malpractice on both sidelines (Edit: I’m talking about Minnesota and UNC. It’s also true of Colorado—Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are stars, but the team plays like a mess. NDSU played well and deserved to win)
