On a bright note, I take back all of my harsh comments about Carter Murphy. Dude doesn't know if he's gonna play at all on any given night, but when he gets in the game, he plays hard and makes some tough shots. Obviously he wouldn't be getting minutes for a competitive ACC team, but he's far...
Clemson is just a significantly better team. I've watched them several times this season, and it always stands out to me how solid they are 1-5. I'm not expecting a win tonight (though I'd love that); if I see some fight and we keep it close, then I'll view that as a moral victory.
True, but I was also shocked a) that they played almost exclusively 2-3 zone and b) at how poorly they ran it (considering it's kinda their thing). The ghost of Jim Boeheim still haunts...
I just want to remind everyone that Georgia State's highest home attendance last year was 16,718. No, they aren't taking over Bobby Dodd. NC State, Miami, etc. will all bring more fans to Bobby Dodd than Ga State.
J Batt wasn't the one who greenlit this game — it was Stansbury & Co. Also, I don't have a problem with doing FSU in Ireland OR alternatively Notre Dame in the Benz. I have a problem with them doing BOTH in the same season — giving up two huge marquee home games.
Sorry, I might not have been very clear. I was referencing the below article.
Board of Governors approves policy that could stop UNC, NC State from leaving ACC
@orientalnc any insight into the UNC BoG? It's my understanding that they now get to approve or veto any conference changes (which effectively means that UNC can't leave without dragging NC State with it). Is that true? If so, that's good news for the ACC.
We didn't get shafted — the FSU and ND games wouldn't have been moved off campus without approval from the GT Athletic Department (albeit the previous administration). There are legitimate reasons to be upset regarding the ACC's treatment of Tech, but unfortunately, these wounds are...
1) Nait and Baye are clearly getting better. Wacie has improved substantially from his final year at UF.
2) Better relative to what? To last year? Or to earlier in the year? If the latter, then the obvious answer is three-point shooting.
3) Again, it depends on what your point of reference is. I...
I know y'all Southerners probably don't have to interact with Buckeye fans that much, but I promise you, they are truly the u(sic)ga fans of the Midwest. They're annoying, insufferable, and obnoxious; plus they think of themselves as a way better program than they actually are.
And neither does the rest of the CFB world. Go ahead and let everyone think Grayson McCall and Kyron Drones are better than HK (can barely type that with a straight face). It'll make it that much more satisfying when he dominates them next year.
