ACC just announced this game as a noon kick. It's a bit baffling, considering they gave the 3:30 slot to Wake-Stanford and the 8 slot to Duke-SMU, which are all private schools and will get lower ratings. Oh well, it will still be a lot of fun. Just makes it tougher to get a full tailgate in.

As a CivE myself who has worked in big firms like HNTB... those renderings indefensible. They're capable of doing a lot better. It doesn't really matter though I suppose, it gets the point across.

Look, I do genuinely like the GWG look. But what's the point of even having the gold tops if we're never going to wear them? By my count, that's 6/6 games we've worn the whites.

Yeah, I frankly don't understand the complaining about the shade of gold used in our uniforms. It just flat-out looks better; like I said earlier, it pops. Freaking out just because it doesn't match the exact Pantone in our logo seems rather silly to me.

The WGW combo is hands-down my favorite iteration of the current uniforms. I think it looks fantastic, it pops, and I think it encapsulates our brand the best. That may be an unpopular opinion, but that's just my two cents. It would always be my pick to wear against the dawgs.

To me, it's irrelevant whether or not past Tech teams wore navy. Our colors are white and gold, period, end of story. They were wrong then, and it's wrong now. The navy should be reserved for accents.

Per Va Tech, this game is officially sold out. It's their homecoming. So unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for your ticket, buy it through GT for $60 (assuming they still have some left). Everything on resale sites is $100+.
