Noon kickoff on week zero immediately after ESPN Gameday is about as good as it could be for a game in Dublin! Great opportunity for GT to shoe they can compete with the big boys of college football!
Well if this is what is considered positive press than Fake News works! You know this is a misleading and meaningless chart that only people on THIS board have seen or care about. Check the other GT message boards and this chart does not show up because it is meaningless.
I say people are...
Whatever floats your boat. Let's revisit in September! Again if you believe in thought police this is not a GT message board, it's is a GT propaganda board. Is that your desire, I doubt it! You like many others feel the need to comment. Then wonder why this discussion continues.
Leonard...
It’s also a reflection of GTs record the past 8+ years. We have lacked the talent to compete at the top of the ACC. CPJ who was a top tier coach couldn’t compete at the top tier after 2014.
Coaching matters as CGC showed how bad coaching hurts badly. Talented players matter as much. GT...
When our TEs produce at GT and the NFL then get excited. Hyping GT TEs is fake news. Let’s revisit in September and see how many are on active rosters. Even on practice squads.
I get tired of the fake news that several have implied this is a big deal. As I said I hope they all at least make a practice squad. Come September likely only 2 will be on 53 man rosters. Most of the players were marginal performers for GT. So if they actually make NFL 53 man squads then...
LOL. Yea guys with 8 catches in the NFL will flag GT as TE University. Reality sucks sometimes. This is all irrelevant to GT’s future success.
On field performance matters. Nothing else.
No it is not. HS recruits actually know way more about football programs than you give them credit. The high end recruits have advisors now. They know which schools produce NFL players. Most have zero chance of actually playing in the NFL. The ones that do know the landscape.
Football recruits are way smarter than that and you know it! GT students don't chose GT for our athletic teams in 90+% of the time. They come to GT because of GT's academic reputation.
If we beat FSU then we all should Jump up and Down celebrating! Posting the victory everywhere. That...
Lord have mercy what a bunch of sensitive GT fans. Outside of Waller the rest have a total of 8 catches for 76 yards and 0 TDs in their NFL careers.
As I said, Waller is a multi time All Pro. When any of the others accomplish something then Jump up and down waving your Gold and White Pom...
Chest Thumping is only meaningful when it is actually meaningful. Waller has had several All Pro years and has been a true Stud several years. The point is GT needs more studs in the NFL! Until that happens then these lists in May are just stupid.
Fortunately GT was mentioned almost every...
Yea we have 5 on Spring rosters. Hope they all make at least the Practice Squads or better. TEs do make good ST players. With the NFL’s new kickoff format it will be interesting to see how that impacts the position’s value. Hard to say now what the impact will be on the position.
First you have to take the list as credible. Second our TEs have done little at GT. Now when we get 5 top 100 draft picks in a 2-3 year period we know things have changed for GT football. This list is fools gold.
A 40-45K high end stadium would help. We have a very old crappy stadium by modern Urban standards.
We have a disinterested student base compared to most other Universities.
UGA has a huge strong fan base in Metro Atlanta. That isn’t changing.
Winning clearly would help. We need to win big in...
How many will make the 53 man roster? How many will make game day rosters? How many will be impact players? How many will get a 2nd NFL contract? Those are the criteria for having success in the NFL. Of that group only Waller answers the mail on all counts.
