Agree… my point was that I would be far less concerned about these 4* guys being “deficient” just because they didn’t get much game time at a place like Bama. If they were coming from Rutgers, Vandy, Miss St, etc, there’s a little more apprehension.

Probably too early to hang up on the numbers but I balk immediately at the notion that tier 1 is getting paid 2x tier two and 4x tier three. Incentive is good and relegation is good, but with such a disproportionate payment structure, you effectively nullify both.

We also got away with a blatant hold on that play. I think it was our TE who just reached out and grabbed a shoulder pad to throw the defender off the ball. Good for him because the hold wouldn’t have been nearly as catastrophic (if called)

Anyone take note that the play Miami ran to win it was the same basic play that Lville deflected into our endzone for a touchdown? They threw it slightly forward (and probably had linemen downfield).
