It’s a fine line. Some comments are funnier if they are dead pan (no emoji) and other times one can come across as hostile without the emoji. I always hope people know when I’m joking.
I know most coaches plan down to the smallest details but it’s nice to have a coach again who plans for every scenario, gaming out when to call timeouts, when to tell Faulkner this is four down territory and plan accordingly, and even practicing in which game situation you will go for the...
💯 percent.
We will be competitive in every game and, if not, it won’t be for lack of effort. Over the last two years there has been consistency in how we approach each game. This is very different from where we were and any opponent trying to overlook us will pay the price.
Oh, I agree completely. I was just giving reflection back at the attitude that says any time I disagree with the coach it means the coach is wrong, needs to be big enough to admit it, and should be better prepared next time.
And we are just saying you are wrong. But it will take a big man to admit this. We are just saying we hope you are better prepared in the future to analyze game situations. 😊
Our zone certainty had a lot of “cushion.” At the time I guessed it was out of respect for their speed and not wanting to give up a home run. I also wondered if we thought we would get more pressure on the QB which makes throwing into a zone riskier.

I can’t decide if everyone is beatable this year and we are...
Hopefully the TV powers that be are interested enough in a team that played in last year’s ACC Championship to want to give them some prime coverage. I think this game is even bigger for Louisville than it is for Tech.
I never said they were dropping 8 into coverage every down. Someone else may have suggested that. From what King said it sounded like our fastest WRs were getting double coverage on most passing downs.
Anyway, I’m not trying to argue with you, just sharing what I thought I heard from King.
