I said it earlier in the year, when you are not very athletic (other than Smith) and cannot shoot, it's not a formula for success. We have obviously confirmed my thought process was correct.
I like CJP, think he is a good man but it's time to try someone/something different. We cannot continue...
I wonder if that's what Kirby whispered to Coach Key when they shook hands, "if you get the job, you should seriously consider Buster for OC"?
Buster is a Parkview graduate and should have some very good relationships with HS coaches in Georgia. Amazing college career as a QB at a couple of...
Yes, you are correct.
Kirby and Dabo for sure like to cover for the drunk great guys!
When Switzer coached OU, I called my guy, asked line on OU vs Kansas.
OU -59.5, I said give me OU for a 1.00.
Final score: OU 63 Kansas 0
Switzer always covered if he had the chance!
We have no height, are not very athletic and cannot shoot. I'm definitely not a basketball expert by any means but if that's what you have to work with, probably not going to be very good.
The good news is it's still early, hopefully our shooting will get better and we'll have a chance to...
Nice reply. I'll never slam any kids, just stating my vision on true football players compared to athletic kids running around. You were probably a pile jumper if you ever even suited up.
I just don't see us having many true, fundamental football players. D. Smith, C. Thomas and N. McCollum seem to be heady players, but not many others. We have several good looking athletes but just not football smart. I believe some of that is coaching for sure but instinct and awareness are...
I see our guys getting hurt during the games vs all the time. I know sometimes it is inevitable, but we seem to be laying on the ground a ton more than our opponents. To me, that is all about lack of S & C and mental toughness. Injured and hurt are two totally different things.
When I say young, he's 39-40, I'm old so he is young to me! Good QB coach. Kirby Smart must think alot about him, I would like to think he has helped Bennett quite a bit. We need some body that has played the position and has won everywhere he has been.
Check out Buster Faulkner for OC. Current quality control assistant for UGA but has been OC for several programs. Local guy, ( Parkview and Valdosta State), still young and hungry. Very successful in smaller programs and now 2 years under Monken at UGA. Won state championship at Parkview and...
