I love this hat and don’t live in ATL. I called the bookstore and they didn’t answer. Called back and they said the hat is not available on their website. May be available on-line by Friday. Nothing comes easy with that group.
Skeptic - I remember that goal line play as well. It was Brandon Thompson. Were from Thomasville and were watching him the whole game. Kudos to Johnson for being able to change it mid-stream. Remarkable.
You have to appreciate what Coach Johnson has done, both in the class room and on the field. He has won on par with those immediately before him and has seriously outperformed them in the classroom. I cannot remember any GT Coach in any sport that graduates kids like Johnson (Maybe Heppler)...
We dodged one last night for sure.
30 seniors
playing in Atlanta
closed the schools (unbelievable)
every non-GT & non-Auburn person in the State clamoring for them to win
every single person from every media outlet supporting them
........and they still didn’t do it.
I’m sure they will be...
I do like what Johnson has done here, especially in terms of the overall program picture. At some point he will hang up the whistle however.
One coach that impressed me was the guy at Wake. That team was flying around everywhere and the coach was fired up as well. That kind of energy could...
I'm with you GPD. Kids played hard all day long. Our receiver drops a sure 3rd down completion on one end and they get a 4th down gift down on the other end. UM is a little bit charmed right now.
I watched the Steve Largent story last night on Football Life. I didn't realize that he was listed at 5'10" and his listed 40 time was 4.6.
Finished as the all time leading receiver in catches and yards. He credited his success to precise route running and deception.
I enjoyed his story...
Any opinions out there on Mike Lonergan at GW?
San Diego State got a taste of flying cross-country last night and Lonergan's team pasted them. I am a little surprised he's not being mentioned more often.
This UA isn't the same UA from 10 years ago.
My son is a 6th grader playing middle school ball. I realized in talking with him that the Nike section is the old man section to them. He came home with a pair of UA high tops (and they were quite nice) telling me that his middle school was an UA...
Totally agree with us trying to sell top kids without a major brand. We all know we are swimming upstream given our academic demands. This just seems like an an area where we are adding an additional hurdle.
It would be fun to see our branding go a little more mainstream and watch our...
I do hope we end up with UA when the Russell deal ends. That's difficult to type as I was always a Nike guy and Adidas/UA was 2nd tier (Still have not purchased one solitary item of Russell gear). However, my sons (age 8 & 10) will not wear Nike, only UA and I believe that holds true for that...
