    Potential Head Coach Hires

Was an obviously poorly performing joke.

    Potential Head Coach Hires

Fixed it for you* My conclusions after the last several days on this thread are that there are a high percentage of posters on this site that fall into two groups; #1) The 20-30 yo's who grew up in an age where football is the most widely watched sport and who actually know who Geoff Collins...

    Potential Head Coach Hires

You're completely missing the point of the post. We all want what's best for the program, just bizarre how everyone hates a guy who has to this point done very little to hate.

    Potential Head Coach Hires

As a "fiduciary of the GTAA" his role is to hire the best person for the program. He has hired nobody yet. Getting mad over interviewing someone and using leverage to help out a network is hypocritical and lame. If we hire Whisenhunt, I'll eat my words, but until a legitimate report comes out...

He's helping his bud get a raise from the Chargers/NFL. Everyone needs to relax.

Stansbury has done more in his time here than the entirety of Bobinsky and the final years of Rad combined. He is very close with Ken, he is helping Ken gets a raise. Unless shown otherwise, Stansbury understands this school and what it takes to win more than anyone else has.

Echo what everyone is saying about Devoe. RJ Barrett absolutely loved playing with Devoe because he's incredibly intelligent on the court. It won't show up as much until he gets used to his new role (in HS he was the starting PG, but often immediately gave the ball up to Barrett and cut away to...

Also, Devoe's skills are incredible and he + Alvarado in the backcourt could become the best we've had here in decades.

Moore is our most important developmental piece imo. He is the exact kind of player that the NBA is looking for, and if he can have confidence in his shot, his length, hustle, and defensive skill could be massive moving forward. Shembari is not used to playing without the ball. I think Pastner...

We shot 33% from Three. That's not great but it's not awful. The problem that @YlJacket is correctly bringing up, however, is we only shot 12 of them because we couldn't get good looks. It's not that we can't make shots, it's that the shots we are taking are counter to the strategy the team is...

I agree with most of this, but I think it's interesting that you note that our shot selection is bad. I actually think the opposite. I don't think we shoot enough *bad* shots. Meaning, we try to get the perfect shot almost every possession and that turns into a rushed drive to the rim. Devoe...

This team is one of the best defensive teams in the country. If they can make shots, they can win games. I just think Pastner needs to encourage them to shoot more even if it's not the perfect shot. They realized in the second half that their defense can spark their offense. That second half can...

    2/11 - dook @ GT

Honestly that second half was one of the most fun I've had at a GT game in a long time. The crowd was louder than I've heard it over the last two years and it was definitely a very impressive showing for any recruits in the building. Hopefully it played well that even with a good amount of Duke...
