Not disagreeing at all, just elaborating IMO, It was more than just passing, the problem with the offense was that it became a QB-BB offense, one or the other was going to be carrying the ball, and defenses zeroed in on them. Except for the VT game WR and ABs weren't a factor. As for drops...

Don't know the rule as its written, but OL fall down a lot, even when not cut blocking. What if Ivey hits #25 up high bounces off, then falls down where he did in the game. Would that be a chop block? I wouldn't think so. And #25 does put his hands on him, so there's contact with another...

If OL falls to ground and DL trips/gets pushed backward over him, thats not a chop block. Have to look at replay, not sure what happened.

Agree all around You tend to get that with aggressive Defense. A couple plays away from being a 30+ performance. I'll take that.

Re: Final Drive You want to force them to play 4th downs multiple times before they get into FG range, on their side of the field. This gives you the advantage. Not just once on your own side of the field on a 50/50 ball. They have that tall athletic WR so its more like 60/40 or 70/30.

Rain isn't good for any Offense, but it affects Passing the most. Visibility is poor, Throwing Accuracy is hampered, Separation for WRs is harder. Balls are more likely to sail on QBs, making interceptions more likely. I would even say fumbles are more likely to occur from sacks. True...
