I read this today:
"Other notable returning arms include lefthanders Will Shirah, Joseph Mannelly and Brant Hurter plus righty Hugh Chapman. Those four all fall into the “wild card” category as they work their way back from injuries. Shirah had some bone spurs removed from his elbow and hasn’t...
UGH! I totally forgot you @THWG , You definitely have your finger on the pulse of GT baseball, and your predictions usually come true.
I always read your comments then think back, "Yup, @THWG , was right about that."
From @JacketOff over this past summer:
"Archer will be back. The reason he wasn’t on the roster after his injury was because it occurred before the deadline to post the official 35 man roster. Mannelly, Miller, Hurter, etc. stayed on the roster because they were already on it when the season...

Whew! That's a lot of freshman on this fall 40 man roster.
Even when it's cut down to 35 in spring that's still a lot of freshman.
Also I'm sure the stats of the likes of Joey Bart or Connor Thomas as freshman weren't spectacular but my guess it's...
I'm taking my little guys up to NC to watch Luke Waddell.
Now we have to root for USA!
I wish all the Jacket boys of summer well, and keep healthy.
I'll try to go to more summer games since now I know where our GT boys are scattered.
Great forum and thanks for all the info!
Again thank you for all your insight @JacketOff , I knew the Cape was the hardest in terms of level, but I had no idea about the other leagues.
I just came across this info while searching USA baseball for my boys to watch when we go NC. It appears that the CPL league will face off the against...
I'm young enough too to be entertained by your handle, even without remarking that it was a play on words.
Regardless, please feel free to be a social media stalker and report back your findings. I'm busy with two little boys who are excited for the next season at GT baseball.
Go Jackets!
@JacketOff , You seem to have great scoop before it's published, perhaps the forum can count on you to help us unlock the mysteries of GT baseball.
Perhaps you have insider knowledge? Whatever your sources, I'm glad you are throwing us a bone with GT baseball news before it happens!
Thank you Sir!
I found Barron Radcliff on Cape Cod Falmouth roster.
Willingham for sure is signing his MLB per his twitter page.
Unknown about Johnathan Hughes if he returns for 5th yr redshirt (did he graduate?)
Where is Barlow and Roedig?
Someone mentioned on a a post in one of these baseball threads about...
I just came across this article.
I personally think our boys at GT did a wonderful job this year. They kept my whole whole family entertained with their highs and lows, mostly highs.

I forgot to add Amos Willingham to the list above for losing pitchers. What a great addition he was from JUCO.
My husband always say pitching beats hitting in overall game wins...
My guess is Radcliffe is going to the Cape.
It’s interesting Jackson Webb being a red shirt Senior is playing summer ball.
My main concern now is our pitchers.
We need them to get more experience this summer being so young. I hope Chapmen, Roedig and Barlow are out there on a summer team...
Here is my idea:
Coach Hall should look at JUCO again, that's where Willingham came from and Webb from UCF.
There are tons of talent at JUCO especially Chipola College who has two previous commits from GT, Andrew Moore, and Logan Jarosz
Time to move onto the summer fellas...
From last years summer assignments please refer to the link below:
https://ramblinwreck.com/yellow-jackets-announce-2018-summer-baseball-assignments/
As you all know the correlation between the Cape and draft.
I see right now on the Cape rosters , Colin...
D1 Baseball Aaron Fit say:
Omaha Sleeper: Coastal Carolina. When the Chanticleers get their bats rolling — like they did last week, scoring 72 runs in six straight wins to run through the Sun Belt losers’ bracket — they’re terrifying. They landed in the perfect spot for regionals, a...
