Article CFP unanimously approves 5+7 model for new 12-team playoff

The Big10 is headquartered in Chicago. Kind of hard not to think of it as Big10 country.

Article Buzz is busy... Some Things You Might Not Know

Two things I learned from this article. 1) The are multiple buzzes at any one time. I don't think it was this way when I was on campus. and 2) Buzz is a secret society. You don't talk about being a buzz.

Transfer Portal: Who do we need to target this offseason?

I thought it was pretty fun watching King (a transfer) bring our offense back to relevance. The NIL days are different but it's not dooms day.

Court Blows Up NCAA Transfer Rules

If NIL opens up further you could limit transfers with contract terms. One more step to a semi pro-environment but we are essentially there already. That would protect coaches and schools from having to continually use resources on retention vs recruiting and development.

Transfer Portal: Who do we need to target this offseason?

Transfers change the game of college football but I don't get to worried about transfers out in isolation. We need to look at the full equation at the end. As long as transfers IN generate a net plus vs transfers out we will continue to get better. I am excited to see what Key pulls in...

    Backdoor ACC Championship Game?

So it is something larger than a .04% chance? Hey, we have beaten those odds before.

    #GTvsMIA Schadenfreude

No, in the ACCN pregame he was being asked why would Miami ever have problems recruiting. The Miami guy said that other schools were doing NIL before NIL was a thing. He said why would players want to stay @ Miami when they could go get paid at some other school.

    Conference Realignment

So a Soccer league scenario where teams can play their way up or down leagues to get a bigger paycheck. Top teams go up, Bottom teams go down. That would add to the excitement and make sure the structure of today makes sense in the future as teams ebb and flow.

Has anyone else signed up for the Georgia Tech - Aer Lingus Classic (Ireland) game and already forked over the $1,000 yet?

What is the $1000 for? I went last time and booked my own travel and hotel. Kept costs down and gave us the flexibility to do what we want. Tickets were not that bad.

    Conference Realignment

How real is this discussion? Is this likely, imminent, or just a thought exercise? I haven't seen anything near this substantial of a discussion in other channels. Whats driving it?

We Close the 2023 Regular Season at BC

A good number of GT fans at the Boston college game to day. Great to see the turn out.

    The Tech Way

@thetechway - It would be cool if there was an option for donations structured like Patreon. Fans could sponsor, subscribe and donate to their favorite players. Additionally, they could donate/sponsor recruiting buckets. If fans think we need a better OL they could contribute to the OL bucket...

    The Tech Tower T

I happen to know that in the 90s there were lots of sensors on the stairs and roof to get to the T externally. The police response was generally <5mins when the sensors were tripped. Office windows on the fire escape stairs were often left open. That is as far in the recognizance that the...

Have you ever randomly met any GT athletes/coaches?

When I was a student Bobby Cremins drove stopped by me and a couple of my buddies on campus and asked us if we needed a ride. Good guy.
