  1. Baye Declares for NBA; Retaining Eligibility

Obi Toppin was a lottery pick a few years ago. He was at the time a 22 year old college sophomore. Age can provide some limitations but it won't keep a player from being drafted or drafted high if they do what's necessary to make pro teams believe that there's a place for them in the league. And...
  2. Baye Declares for NBA; Retaining Eligibility

This draft is considered to be weak especially when compared to the next 2 years. Nobody expects Baye to be here for 4 years and this is a chance for him to get into the league earlier and potentially be drafted higher than he would be drafted next year.
  3. Coaching Carousel 9 - People die climbing mountains

Cal had transfers that came in. Oscar Tshbiawe is an example of Cal bringing in a guy from the portal who became a star at Kentucky. Antonio Reeves and Tre Mitchell who both started this season were transfers. In prior seasons Sahvir Wheeler was brought in from Georgia and CJ Frederick came to...
  4. Coaching Carousel 9 - People die climbing mountains

They liked how he's coached the team since he took over. He's 6-2 as the head guy, he has a relationship with every player on the team and most likely the majority of the recruits as well. They don't have to spend a ton of money, the new AD feels comfortable with him and they probably have less...
  5. Coaching Carousel 9 - People die climbing mountains

There has been talk of NBA teams thinking that he'd fit there for years. Maybe he'd give that a try.
  6. Coaching Carousel 9 - People die climbing mountains

They got rid of Tom Crean the year that he won the conference title so this wouldn't be a surprise
  7. 2/18 - WBB @ NCST

First of all someone else should have come to the ball. Your idea of what should have happened is fine. The reason that it was so dumb was for not only inbounding the ball to a person who wasn't paying attention to anything but tying their shoe but then standing there and allowing a NC St...
  8. 2/18 - WBB @ NCST

It was nice to see them almost win against a Top 10 team. With that said without their collapses at the end of both halves they win this game.
  9. 2/18 - WBB @ NCST

They're starting to cool down and just committed quite possibly the stupidest turnover that I've ever seen and are down at halftime
  10. Coaching Carousel 9 - People die climbing mountains

He's interviewed for the DePaul job previously. He's been on the hot seat at ASU for years now so leaving before he gets fired anyway isn't a bad look. And his teams have struggled in conference play in the Pac 10 so the move to the Big 12 is only going to make things harder for him to succeed...
  11. 2/1 - WBB vs ND

This is the 1st women's game that I've been to since Fortner has been coaching the team. It was ugly. They were too big on the interior defensively, they applied pressure as well and gave the offense all types of problems. There were multiple times during the 2nd half in which their PG had...
  12. Coaching Carousel 9 - People die climbing mountains

Here's hoping that DePaul finallllllllllly doesn't hire some rando that nobody was looking at for the job other than them.
  13. What has surprised you so far this year?

Definitely George cause he looked overwhelmed in that exhibition game to the point where I was hoping that he had the patience to stick around next season cause this year would be a wash for him.
  14. 12/2 - MBB vs. Duke — HOW BOUT THEM JACKETS!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out the game is on regular TV. Took looking at highlights from somewhere else to find out though.
  15. Cincinnati game

I just saw that Cincinnati's fourth-year center Aziz Bandaogo just got cleared by the NCAA so he should debut for them tomorrow. Averaged 11.5 pts, 2.9 blocks and 10.4 rebounds at Utah Valley last season
